Behind every good man....

As my mother used to say 'behind every good man, is a good woman'.......

Well.... I have evolved that concept ever so slightly.... (sorry Mum); 'next to this good man, is another better one.'

Nick is my rock. I miss him dearly and hope very much we will be standing together very soon indeed.

Or in the words of Tracey Thorn (well I think Ben Watts wrote the track actually, but Tracey definitely sang it,) "I miss you".

Or in the words of George Michael "I think you're amazing..."

Bugger that, in the words of Madonna "I'm hung up on you."

And in the begining there was Blog.....

I have relocated to Thailand!

New; country, job, title, number, address, friends, clients, media, culture and language.

The purpose of my blog is to articulate (somehow) through words, what I learn (somehow) without understanding (most of the) words.

The title 'lost in translation' means so much more than I ever thought.

This will be a journey of understanding, realisation and applying excellence to my career in communication, when I am delighted if the cabbie can understand my address.

When new in a country things are hard. I know, this is my fifth. But when stripped of our language, how do we succesfully convey what is important to us in all facets of our life?

Well that' my friends, is what I am going to find out....
